Vahe Boyajian is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Iranian Studies at Yerevan State University in Armenia and is the head of the Iranian Ethno-Linguistics program.   His research interests include ethnography of the Balochi, dialectology, and foriegn ethnic elements among the Balochi.  His publications include "Notes on the Religious Landscape of Iranina Baluchistan (Observations from the Sarhadd Region)" in Iran and the Caucasus, vol 8.2 (2004), "On Baluchi Separatism" in Centralnaja Azija i Kavkaz (Central Asia and the Caucasus), vol. 5 (1999) and "The Afghani Element among the Baluchi Tribes," in Iran and the Caucasus, vol. 1 (1997).
