Josep Puig Montada is a Professor of Arabic and Islamic Studies at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain and is currently a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at Harvard University. His research interests include Arabic literature and Islamic philosophy and theology. He is the author of over 80 journal article and book chapters, and his recent books include Averrois: L’ensorrament de l’Ensorrament, Averroes, juez, médico y filósofo andalusí, and Avempace: Libro de la generación y la corrupción.
