Mission Statement
The Board of Advisors for the UCLA Center for Middle East Development (CMED) plays a leading role in developing the resources needed to carry out CMED's mission of scholarship and diplomacy and the economic development of the region. Members of the Board serve as trusted Advisors to CMED's leadership, sharing their ideas and expertise. They are ambassadors who espouse the mission of CMED and actively seek out new opportunities and sources of support for it. They are volunteers who give generously of their personal time and resources to ensure its success.
