Coming from Taiwan in 1969 and through schooling and working experiences, he has learned new perspectives of the US.
Peter Zen is the President of FIT Investment Corporation; in his current role Peter is responsible for a portfolio of real estate investments which focus on hotels and office buildings.
Peter first arrived in USA from Taiwan in 1969 to study at Bellarmine College Preparatory School in San Jose, CA. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University in 1978.
His first job after graduation from NYU was working as a commodity trader for Continental Grains Company. This job took Peter to Minneapolis, Dubuque, and Chicago; the great Mid West, which gave Peter a totally new perspective of United States. Then Peter left Continental Grains Company and joined Bank of America specialized in lending to Fortune 1000 large food companies.
Peter has over 30 years of hospitality and commercial real estate experience and has been involved in well over $1 billion in developments and acquisitions ranging from 150 to 1350 room hotels and commercial buildings.
