A talk by poet and political activist Graciela Huinao
The manner in which human rights issues are discussed tends to be offensive to the various indigenous communities in Chile. When national laws and statutes dealing with respect for human beings were being shaped, it was done in a manner that did not account for its native people; as if this group did not belong to the same species.
Lecture will be held in Spanish
