Fernando Paixão is a poet, critic, editor, and professor of literature. Author of five books of poetry as well as critical essays and children’s literature, he received the Jabuti and APCA literary prizes and is currently a professor in the Institute of Brazilian Studies at the University of São Paulo (IEB-USP).
