Professor Serper has studied and performed kabuki, noh, kyogen, t'ai chi, and related performing arts for many years. He is an actor, director and scholar whose intercultural productions and lectures have been widely presented throughout the world. He holds a joint appointment in the Department of East Asian Studies and the Department of Theatre Arts at Tel Aviv University, Israel.
