
A lecture by Randa Siniora, Executive Director, Palestinian Independent Commission for Human Rights
Ms. Siniora has been with the Independent Commission for Human Rights since September 2007 and has a LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex and a M.A in Sociology/Anthropology from the American University of Cairo.
She was previously the Human Rights specialist at Mu'assasat, the Secretariat for support to Human Rights and Good Governance NGO's in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. She was also the General Director of Al-Haq, and worked as head of advocacy and networking unit at Women's Center for Legal Aid and Counseling (WCLAC).
Ms. Siniora is the President of the Board of Defense for Children International in Palestine, and member of the board of the Cairo Center for Human Rights studies and the International Service for Human Rights.
