The UCLA Center for Brazilian Studies and the Consulate of Brazil in Los Angeles would like to invite the community to a lecture by Ambassador José Alfredo Graça Lima,Consul General of Brazil in Los Angeles, followed by a piano recital by acclaimed artist Alexandre Dietrich.
Alexandre Dietrich was born in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. He started learning piano at age ten and he earned his Bachelor of Music - Piano Performance degree from Santa Catarina State University. Mr. Dietrich has participated in many courses of technique and pianistic interpretation with important national and International artists in Brazil, England, Spain and Germany. He continues to perform world wide and will perform at UCLA the follwoing program:
