Rep. Neri Colmenares is an advocate of the National Union of Peoples’ Lawyers (NUPL), handling many of the human rights cases in the country today. He is presently completing his Law PhD with the University of Melbourne Faculty of Law and is writing his Dissertation on the International Criminal Court and the Writ of Amparo. He also lectures at the University of Melbourne on international human rights law topics and is an Associate of the Asian Law Centre in Australia.
