A full-day conference on "In Treatment," the award winning HBO television drama about a psychotherapist and his patients, and "Be-Tipul," the critically acclaimed Israeli show on which "In Treatment" is based and winner of the Israeli Television Academy Award for best drama series.
Join us in celebrating the start of the second season of "In Treatment," learning about "Be-Tipul" and its meaning for Israeli television and society, exploring the challenges of marketing Israeli television in Hollywood and of transposing "Be-Tipul" to "In Treatment" for an American audience, and uncovering what "In Treatment" and "Be-Tipul" might teach us about psychotherapy and its depiction in popular culture.
