Professor Eli Sagi is Professor Emeritus at the Eitan Berglas School of Economics at Tel Aviv University.  Professor Sagi's research interests focus on the interaction between the geopolitical environment and economic development in the Middle East, with a particular focus on Israeli-Palestinian economic interaction. In addition to extensive writing on these topics, he has actively participated in working groups addressing long term economic prospects for the Middle East, including UCLA’s The Middle East Regional Security Dilemma. Professor Sagi’s UCLA talk will focus on economic prospects for Jerusalem assuming a peace treaty with agreed-upon borders.
