

"National Security and the 2008 Elections"
Even though the economy has become arguably the dominant issue for the 2008 Presidential Elections, foreign policy and national security still remain important as the United States fights two wars. Discussing these issues in the election is Matthew Yglesias, Senior Editor at the Center for American Progress Action Fund, a progressive think-tank.
Matthew Yglesias is Senior Editor at the Center for American Progress. He holds a BA in Philosophy from Harvard University. His first book, Heads in the Sand, was published in May 2008 by Wiley. Matt has previously worked as an Associate Editor at The Atlantic, a Staff Writer at The American Prospect, and an Associate Editor at Talking Points Memo.
