Methodological Proposals for Working with Native Speakers of Nahuatl in Mexican Higher Education / Model Class in Modern Huastecan Nahuatl Conversation

 

Licenciada Delfina de la Cruz is a native speaker of Nahuatl from northern Veracruz.  She is currently Professor-Researcher at el Instituto de Docencia e Investigación Etnológica de Zacatecas, A.C. and a Professor of Nahuatl at the Autonomous University of Zacatecas.  She has a BA degree from the University of Zacatecas.

 

Doctor John Sullivan is Professor-Researcher at the Autonomous University of Zacatecas. He is the director of two non-profit corporations: Instituto de Docencia e Investigación Etnológica de Zacatecas, A.C. in México;  and the Macehualli Educational Research Program in the United States.  He has a Ph.D in literature from the University of California, San Diego and is Guggenheim Foundation recipient (2007-2008).
