"Unequal opportunities and ethnic origin: the labor market outcomes of second generation immigrants in France and Europe"
We will discuss the methodological and substantive approach of Professor Lefranc's paper, and work towards the specification of a comparative research agenda on ethnic minority discrimination/disadvantage in Europe. The seminar will be organized in the form of a graduate student workshop, with discussion by Virginie Guiraudon, CNRS-Université de Lille II, Adrian Favell and Roger Waldinger (Dept of Sociology, UCLA)
