Professor Suphamongkhon received a BA in Political Science from UCLA, master’s from American University and Ph.D. from USC.  He has been interviewed and cited on such programs and periodicals as CNN, BBC News, and ABC, as well as the Washington Post, Financial Times and Time Magazine.  He has been a diplomat at the United Nations and has also contributed to the Six Party Talks regarding the Korean Peninsula, among other things.

He currently UC Regents’ Professor, a Burkle Center Senior Fellow, and resident scholar in the UCLA Department of Political Science.
