Paul I. and Hisako Terasaki Community Outreach Program Fund
This fund is designed to promote deeper understanding among members of the Japanese American community of their rich and diverse heritage.
Non-profit organizations and qualified individuals are invited to apply for funding to co-sponsor exhibits and public seminars on subjects of broad interest dealing with Japan that will engage the Japanese American community to learn more about their heritage. Applications for funding of up to $5,000 are currently accepted. The application deadline is December 10, 2009 and awards will be announced by March 10, 2010.

Eric Murata, Nikkei Student Union, for “Nikkei Student Union 23rd Annual Culture Night,” a student written and run show on February 16, 2009
Mickie Okamoto, CA Japanese American Community Leadership Council, for “Nikkei Community Internship,” an internship program.
