2013-2014 Asia Institute Graduate Fellowships
For UCLA graduate students in any field. Application deadline: March 25, 2013
The Asia Institute provides fellowships of up to $8500 each to UCLA graduate students whose research focuses on an Asian topic or incorporates Asia in comparative or regional perspectives or methodologies. The regions covered by these fellowships include East Asia, Southeast Asia, and South Asia. Graduate student applicants must be advanced to candidacy by September, 2013, and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proposal of 2-3 pages in length
- Unofficial UCLA transcript (scanned)
- Two letters of recommendation
Hiroshi Wagatsuma and Asia Institute Graduate Fellowships will be accepted through the same online application. Please indicate which fellowship you wish to apply for, and follow the instructions for each.
