Li Weiguo is the chief editor at Shanghai People's Publishing house. He is also a professor at Zhejiang University, East China Normal University, and Shanghai Normal University. Professor Li is currently editing a 120 volume project on Tibetan Buddhist culture. He has published books and articles on Dunhuang and Song Dynasty. His research focuses mainly on Xi Xia, Tibet, and Song Dynasty money notes. He also is the editor for the new edition of Ci hai and many other important dictionaries on the history of China. He has won many important awards in publishing.
