Mindfulness is the act of paying attention to the present moment with openness, curiosity, and a willingness to be with what is. Join us for a very special sunset meditation session with a brief introduction to mindfulness followed by silent meditation exercises with Diana Winston, director of Mindfulness Education at UCLA. She is then joined by musicians Michael Perricone on Tibetan singing bowls, vocalist Jahna Perricone, and flautist and UCLA Professor of Ethnomusicology A.J. Racy, who will complement the session with the sounds of world music. Seating is first-come, first-served; priority seating for Fowler members at 5:15PM.

A Fowler Musem at UCLA event co-present with UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center and the Healthy Campus Initiative.
