A training workshop on conflict resolution, negotiation and mediation skills building.  Main topics include: Negotiation and Mediation Techniques and Process, Conflict Theories and Practices, Conflict Assessment, Conflict Sources and Types, Consensus Building, Ethics in Medication, Alternative Dispute Resolution System Design, Cross-Cultural Communication Techniques, Building Dispute Resolution Practice. 

Trainers are:

Professor Ernest Uwazie, Director of the Center for African Peace and Conflict Resolution and Professor of Criminal Justice at CSUS; also a conflict resolution trainer, practitioner, and scholar

Attorney Daniel Yamshon, Esq., a highly experienced dispute resolution trainer, practitioner and theorist at domestic and international levels

Ms. Thelma Johnson, a highly acclaimed youth and community mediation trainer and practitioner, and expert in cross-cultural communication.

Certificate to be issued to participants upon completion of the workshop.  MCLE and CEU's available upon request.  The workshop will be highly interactive, with short lectures, role plays and exercises.
