FYI -- info forwarded from Ben Kingston of Netting Nations:

My name is Ben Kingston and I'm a co-founder of Netting Nations (www.nettingnations.org), a Manhattan Beach-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to combat the global epidemic of malaria through the purchase and distribution of long-lasting insecticide treated mosquito nets.

On September 25th, 2008, we and others are hosting a fundraiser.  Netting Nations' goal will be to raise enough money to purchase nets for over 1,700 children, most of them homeless and/or orphans, who live on the streets of Nairobi, Kenya.  NetLifeAfrica, who is also sponsoring this event, will be distributing their nets in Senegal by riding town-to-town and also rendering medical care and assistance as needed.

I just wanted to drop you a quick note about the upcoming event and would be more than thrilled if you could pass along the word to your organization.  Please check out the event at www.drumstobeatmalaria.org.

Best regards,

Ben Kingston,
on behalf of Netting Nations
